Monk SPF
Monk is a type family that seeks a balance between the openness and legibility of humanist sans serifs and the striking and more regularized character of square sans serif. Letter forms have a distinct direction of ductus, a wide overall stance, large open counters that help in its legibility at small point sizes, with taut and curves.

Is a commissioned font we created for the 500 years celebration of the artist. Used exclusively to distinguish the coordinated branding, the design was carved from the artists’ original monogram. Its curved kick on the R, movement, and shape, block serif, and open stencil styling derive from this monogram.
